Tree, People and Towns Conference


We have quite the lineup of excellent speakers, workshops, field visits, and networking opportunities. We have lots of fun planned! Join us for insightful discussions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities. Learn about improving community forestry policy and practices, strengthening partnerships, and community engagement. Of course, there will be plenty of conversation about trees, too.

October 17th: NSA Curator’s meeting (afternoon)

Who should attend? If you are a tree advocate, tree board member, practitioner, planner, leader, city administrator, city clerk, non-profit, public works or parks personnel or in any way responsible for community trees, this conference is for you! The conference is geared toward small communities and mid-sized cities.

Registration: Register by October 1st! Register Here  *** Registrations after October 1st: Unfortunately, we cannot provide t-shirts to late registrants. In addition, only a limited number of late registrants can be accommodated at the  Wednesday networking event.***

 

Cost: TCUSA celebration (Free), Pre-Conference Trees and the Law Workshop ($20), Conference( $90), NSA Curator Meeting ($15) 

Lodging: We have a room block available at Tru by Hilton East. Attendees must reserve their room by September 16th to get the block rate of $107/night plus tax. After the cutoff date, you may call the hotel to book.
