Never Waste a Crisis: Learning from a Serious Incident by Craig Bachmann In August 2022, Tree133 experienced a climber fall resulting in a severe injury. For a well-respected company owned by a recognized trainer, this was an unthinkable event that challenged everything we believed about ourselves and our culture. This presentation will share valuable lessons learned from that incident and the resulting state-level OSHA investigation. Attendees will learn practical steps to improve work planning, team communication, PPE inspection, skills development and documentation. By sharing this experience, Tree133 can help other companies build a strong culture of safety and prevent on-the-job incidents.
