MWISA Opportunity for Advancing Knowledge Scholarship (OAKS)
The Midwestern Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture is accepting applications for OAKS, a 50/50 cost-share scholarship to assist its members in attending our annual conference, training course, or paying membership dues. These funds can go towards registration fees, travel, and lodging.

Applications will be evaluated by MWISA Board Members. Scholarship funds need to be matched 1:1 by the applicant. Applications can be submitted at any time to staff@mwisa.org. The MWISA may take up to sixty days to deliver a decision. It is encouraged to include your resume/CV and letters of recommendation in your application.

The maximum award amount is $300. MWISA reserves the right to partially award lesser amounts. Applicants cannot receive awards two years in a row.

OAKS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

MWISA Affiliate Continuing Education Reimbursement Grant (ACER)

The Midwestern Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture is accepting applications for ACER, a cost-share grant program to assist affiliate organizations within the MWISA footprint in putting on training courses, educational events, or field days.

Applications will be evaluated by the MWISA Board. Grant funds need to be matched at least 1:1 by the applicant organization. Applications can be submitted at any time to staff@mwisa.org. The MWISA may take up to sixty days to deliver a decision. It is required to include the event bios for the event organizer(s), event speakers, and/or event leaders. The maximum award is $1,000. MWISA reserves the right to award partial or lesser amounts.
